Kyshtym Copper Refinery is the leading manufacturer of electrolytic copper foil in Russia. Due to modernization of the existing equipment and introduction of new machines together with technical development and steady improvement of quality control methods, our copper foil has the same properties as that made by leading foil-manufacturing companies in the world.

Using its own process (the first in Russia) the plant produces an electrolytic copper strip (soft and semi-hard state) for making car radiator plates and tubes. To make the strip by electrolysis we can produce thinner products compared to traditional rolling technology (0.025-0.050 mm).

In addition to the copper foil and strip, an 8-mm diameter copper wire rod coiled is produced in the production division. It is made through the use of the so called UPCAST PROCESS (the US36K-10 continuos casting plant, capacity of 10000 tons per year, Outokumpu Castform, Finland).
